Guests started arriving at Oslo's Royal Palace late Thursday morning for the christening of Princess Martha Louise's and Ari Behn's baby daughter Leah Isadora. Here comes author Åsne Seierstad and her new German companion.
Celebrity chef Trond Moi, who just saw his new restaurant in New York go bankrupt, was also an obvious guest. He's a good friend of the princess and Ari Behn.
Royal relative Pia Haraldsen arrived on her own.
Labour Party policitian Trond Giske and his partner Anne Grethe Moe came with their daughter. Giske is also a good friend of the princess and Ari Behn.
Inside the chapel at the palace, the family was assembled. Father Ari Behn holds Leah Isadora, while Princess Martha Louise holds their first child, Maud Angelica. Queen Sonja sat next to Martha Louise.
The christening service was conducted by new Oslo bishop Ole Christian Kvarme.
Little Leah Isadora was held by the queen while the bishop conducted the ceremony.
The baby, born April 8, is the youngest of Queen Sonja's three granchildren.
Little Maud Angelica picked up her program, while the royal family looked on.
Proud papa Ari Behn carried his newly christened daughter out of the church.
It's been a busy several months for the royal family, with Centennial events, the king's illness, a birth and lots of travel. Soon they'll all take off on summer holiday.Ny teknologi gjør det mulig å lytte til andres telefonsamtaler. Les saken
