Crown Princess Märtha died April 5, 1954. Märtha Sofia Lovisa Dagmar Tyra, who was a Swedish princess, was born March 28, 1901. In 1929 she married her cousin, then Crown Prince Olav, and became Norwegian Crown Princess.Here Crown Prince Olav and Prince Harald go in the funeral procession up Oslo's main boulevard, Karl Johan, with the streets lined with mourners from the palace to the cathedral.
