
Glacier experts were thrilled to find a huge grotto underneath the Nigard Glacier in Norway, an arm of the Jostedal Glacier.

The grotto allowed those venturing inside to see ice formations they later described as nothing short of "fantastic."

The Nigard Glacier's grotto was first discovered in November. It's safe now, but some fear it may collapse in the spring as temperatures warm up.
