Friends and family of mountaineer businessman Arne Næss Jr turned out late last week at Ris Church in Oslo to pay their final respects. Næss was killed in a climbing accident in January.
Camilla Astrup, who shared Næss' life in recent years and had two sons with him, welcomed mourners to the memorial service.
Arne Næss' daughter Leona, who's embarked on a singing career, made her own musical tribute to her father at the ceremony.
Ole Edvard Antonsen played the trumpet.
Among those speaking at the ceremony was Wenche Foss, Norway's reigning diva. A model of a mountain was placed on the altar.
The mountaineer's uncle, philosopher Arne Næss (right), was among those attending the memorial.

An earlier funeral service was held for closest family just after the accident in January. Arne Næss' grown children were among the pallbearers.
