Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Dagfinn Høybråten, a Christian Democrat, has asked Brann Stadium in Bergen to remove the "Hansa" (brewery) legend on its seats, and accused wine columns in newspapers of violating the ban on advertising for alcohol. Meanwhile, the Petroleum Fund is happy to invest in the alcohol industry, newspaper Stavanger Aftenblad reports.

The Fund owns shares worth NOK 242 million (USD 37.6 million) in the French liquor company Pernod-Ricard. According to a recent bourse report, the company grew 19 percent in Asia and the third world in Q1 of this year.

The Petroleum Fund also has investments in Carlsberg, Heineken and Anheuser-Busch.
