Nina hails from California and worked at newspapers including USA Today, The Tucson Citizen, The Oakland Tribune and The Honolulu Advertiser before being lured over to the bright lights of television. After a stint on the ABC affiliate in Honolulu, Nina moved to Oslo where she ran the desk for shipping newspaper TradeWinds, published by the owners of business daily Dagens Næringsliv. Nina joined Aftenposten in March 1999 and spends her free time skiing as much as possible in the hills around Oslo.

Jonathan has been a freelance journalist since leaving university. He landed in Oslo via London after leaving the USA. He has worked for Reuters and written pieces for a wide variety of publications, including the Spectator, Economist, and Scanorama. Writing helped him survive the unusual vocation of chess grandmaster. He now works almost exclusively on the Internet and likes it there.
