The stations broadcast in Norwegian, but if you're interested in listening to the local language and quite a bit of local music, here's where you can choose a channel:

By clicking on "Start player," you'll be able to find several other stations as well. There'll be a slight pause after you click, while the sound loads up to 100 percent.

Norwegian Broadcasting (NRK) no longer allows Aftenposten or other web sites to offer its feeds, insisting that listeners find them through NRK's own web site, but Aftenposten's provider, Nordic Web Radio, plans to introduce some other stations after New Year.

Commercial stations already on offer include P4, NRJ and Klem FM (easy listening). By clicking on P4, for example, you can choose among the station's hits, ballads and oldies.
