Management at Fredrikstad (FFK) were forced to decline the exciting offer down since the club is preparing for a cup final. Chelsea has had trouble getting their interest through to the Norwegian club.

FFK director was on sick leave and so a first mail contact from the London club went unanswered.

"That was unfortunate," said Elyounoussi, who told local newspaper Fredriksstad Blad that he was flattered by the offer.

Tarik has a contract with FFK through 2009 and is clearly the hottest prospect for a sale abroad. He hopes that he'll get another chance.

"This can be a useful experience for me. Not least, it would be fun to see how such a big club is run. And hopefully I could also get to watch a match," he said.
