«Anh La Ai?» (Who Are You?)
May I ask who you are? Why arrest me? What have I done?
May I ask who you are? Why strike me, without mercy?
May I ask who you are? Why can't I profess my love?
For my dear Vietnam, for whose race have endured so much!
May I ask where you're from? Why can't I protest these wrongs?
May I ask where you're from? Why scold me in my native tongue?
May I ask where you're from? Why must you submit to their will?
Your hands will be stained, with the lives of our people
I cannot sit still, while Vietnam starts to collapse
My people will start to fall, a thousand years into despair I cannot sit still, for one day my children will ask
Where are my roots/Where am I from?
When there's no longer, a Vietnam
«Viet Nam Toi Dau?» (Where Is My Vietnam?)
Time's lasted more than half a lifetime
And we have learned enough
Oh life days after the war ended
Eyewitnessing daily sufferance
The mysery weary and hungry
But.. those reign get wealthier cruely faking
Nowaday Vietnam's still here or has lost?
Why Chinese invaders swaggering in our country!
Paracel and Spratly islands where the innocent were killed
Died unjustly.. by coldblooded gunships from China
Being a person born and live in Vietnam
Don't blindly turnaway from the invasion
Let's be together Stand up response to motherland
Bravely marching caravans.. strongly determined
Despite ages.. millions of hands raised
Battling with the invaders
Deposing the cowards
Betraying our Vietnam
